Will she get off scott free (again) or will she need to pay the piper. Only time will tell, but rest assured that the American people will start to see these people for what they are. Irresponsible adolescents, refusing to admit they are able to make mistakes. Seems the messiah isn’t the only one with a god complex.

Anyway, the Obama administration, judging by its cavalier disregard of contracts between Chrysler and some of the lenders it sought money from, thinks contracts are written on water. The administration proposes that Chrysler’s secured creditors get 28 cents per dollar on the $7 billion owed to them but that the United Auto Workers union get 43 cents per dollar on its $11 billion in claims — and 55 percent of the company. This, even though the secured creditors’ contracts supposedly guaranteed them better standing than the union.

It seems to me that is administration is out to destroy the very fabric of our economy.  Those adoring cult members will get the change he promised.

Justifiable hypocrisy is the selfish demanding of your ‘rights’, while verbally attacking another person or group that does the same thing.  Basically the ‘right’ you are demanding furthers your agenda, as does the other (attacked) party. However the other party agenda is contrary to yours.

We see one or more of these almost everyday. The most recent on is between the gay community and the traditional marriage community.

Not to long ago the gay community was crying about intolerance toward their chosen sexual preferences. It seems the intolerance toward the traditional marriage community is now justifiable.

They also demand to have their voices heard, yet attempt to silence any opposing view with a religious furver.

It’s one thing to complain about it. Talking isn’t going to solve this issue, in fact it will become worse in the future. This has been going on for all of recorded and pre-recorded history. Ok, what can we do about it? Well nothing. That’s right, you can’t do anything about it. But you can control your response to it.

Let’s face it, you can either get caught up in it, or not. It’s your choice. You are probably wasting your time trying to reason with these people, they have bought into the concept with their whole heart. You are not going to change their minds. Trying to do so is just a waste of your breath. Let them talk, they are incapable of seeing the error of their ways

The best thing to do is recognize these hypocrits and don’t let them get under your skin. Quite frankly we have other more important things to worry about these days.

I’m not homophobic. I’m approaching this from what I know from the Bible, which clearly talks about the topic. As for me, I choose to believe the text of time, not the ‘prevailing facts and truths’ of a media that has only been around for a few years. Yep that’s the internet folks.

The thing that is most striking to me are the political leanings of many of these people. Most if not all of them were very vocal in their support of O during the election, but now seem to be changing their tunes. Well not so much changing as much of just not talking. They were duped and its starting to sink in.

It might be buyers remorse. They bought into the whole “Yes we can” & “Change” mantra we were bombarded with last year. Funny how reality tends to bring you back down to earth, isn’t it?

We are also seeing greater boldness and bias from our media outlets and leftist bloggists. I’m thinking they know they were used, and instead of admitting it are being more vocal to cover their mistake.

Oh, and we are starting to hear stories leak out concerning discontent within the main stream media outlets. Seems the stock holders are starting to rise and up put their foot down. Good for them.

Personally I think this is just the tip of the iceburg. No not the melting ones the Global Warming crowd cries about (melting). No this ice burg is one that is going to last a while. The real power will not be seen, the rock solid ice under the water line voter. The bulk of the iceberg is about to be heard. The next election should be very telling.

I’ve thought about how we combat the hateful left. They were brought to power via ignorance and apathy. We can’t do anything about apathy. Those people have been taught and have chosen to be that way. Ignorance on the other can be fixed. The last election has woken the lazy moderates. This group of people are flocking to libraries to check out books about fascism, statism and other leftist exposure material. I for one am on the tail end of a list to read Liberal Tyranny. I was really surprised to see waiting lists for this and other popular books. I don’t think the lefty’s will be able to hide behind the cloak ignorance during the next election.

Then again, I could be wrong. I hope not.

Colorado 2006, Herman Gulch

I was once told that change is good. And it can be. For example if you are in a bad relationship, leaving is good. It gives you a chance to start over.

But the change we are seeing now should be very concerning. I think we are seeing a shift to the left that will take decades, if ever to fix.

The destructive hatred being display toward the right, or really anyone that opposes or even questions the current administration is nothing short of tyranny. I ask the group, has this absolute hatred, lopsided media bias, state first ever happened before in history?

Let’s consider the unbridled hatred being spewed forth by the leftest bloggests. The constant attacks by these people and the main stream press is nothing more than mass intimidation. Anyone that isn’t supporting the state church of change is a heretic and needs to be destroyed.

What about the economic recovery plan? Rational people with budgets have to cut their spending when they don’t have enough money. They have to make sacrifices. The TARP program and other bailouts are nothing more than a cover for a massive cover up and repayment to the political forces that got these people elected. Gone are the days of GM and Chrysler. The new company should be called UAM, United Autoworkers Motors. It’s funny how they drove the ‘overpaid executives’ out of these companies, only to replace them with their own ‘overpaid executives’. I for one really have no desire to give the UAW any more of my money. I’d rather spend my money on other American made, no-union produced vehicles. I’m not going to reward these people anymore.

Media bias is completely unchecked. Some of these people need to just shut up. When will people realize that these companies are being PAID to promote the things they promote. They are not impartial, or even for the most part even remotely accurate. They simply look for any story that supports their paying customers agenda. Even worse, the general public assumes they are getting the ‘truth’. How naive! The media largely responsible for the election turn out last year. I’m hoping they will pay the price when the general populace turns against this administration and anyone that supports it.

No I do not believe this will last forever. But I’m greatly concerned about my children and their children’s ability to speak freely, to engage in the pursuit of happiness. They will not have a chance unless they bow their knees to State Church of Change (SCC).

Colorado 2006, Herman Gulch

This is perhaps one of the most hotly debated and emotional topics of our time. Why is that?

First off some disclosure. I’m a 13 year veteran of the USAF. During those years I was primarily in Security or Law Enforcement, and carried a weapon almost every day. I also spent about 10 months in the middle east during Desert Storm / Shield.

Now down to the business at hand. We really have three sects or believe systems in play here. On one side we have the ‘Thou shalt not take any of my guns”, the second is “You don’t need a gun for any reason”, and finally the quiet group. This group recognizes that there has to be a balance.  I would fit in this third group.

Do normal people need ‘assault rifles’? Let’s try to look at this based on fact. History tells us that a group of people that cannot defend themselves end up being slaves.We read about genocide all the time. The same holds true for large groups of people in developing countries. They simply do not have the means to defend themselves.

A recent article talking about how the flow of arms into Mexico displayed a picture of lot’s of military arms. The press mistakenly said these where purchased from gun stores in the US. They are either ignorant or apathetic. You cannot buy an M16, with a grenade launcher at any walmart or other consumer gun store. These guns were purchased off the black market.

Why is that important? I have a God given right to self defense, which means I have the right to meet a threat with the necessary force to secure my safety. If a drug cartel can buy these kinds of guns, then I should have the ability to legally buy something that can deliver that kind of firepower. No I’m not talking about a grenade launcher, or automatic rifle. But I am talking about something can lay down a sustained stream of bullets so I can get the heck out of dodge.

We can also look at countries that have banned guns. Many of them have seen a huge increase in robberies and home invasions.  Then there is the so called rash of mass killings at schools. This later issue is partly due to the notority these culprits get from our media sources. The criminal is looking for some notoriety, but is really a coward deep down. He or she does not want to be confronted, so they choose places with the least resistance, and hence a better chance of success. Or in other words, they don’t attack someone or somewhere with the ability to defend themselves.  This has actually changed in some places now, well at least out here in Colorado. Many schools have ‘safety officers’, armed guards that patrol school grounds. Many times these are law enforcement officers.

The do gooders out there think they are doing the world a favor by banning ‘evil’ guns. Quite the contrary. They are encouraging the unlawful behaviour by sometimes well funded and equipped criminal elements. Let’s face it, you are NEVER going to get rid of all guns in the world.

The gun laws we have already should be enforced. Law enforcement agencies and prosecutors that refuse to do show should be sued if possible. They are being paid by law abiding citizens to do so. Anything less than is dereliction of duty.

The main reason I wanted to do this is to keep track of my thoughts, hopefully finding like minded people that would understand, openly and honestly sharing their thoughts.

While I do not intend to attack anyone personally, I do feel it is important to call a can of peaches a can of peaches.

Name calling doesn’t accomplish anything constructive. It usually triggers an emotional response, which for many people immediately makes them incapable of objective reasonable thought.  Standing your ground is fine, but you should be able to explain your position rationally.

We as a country has lots of things going on right now.  Those include the economy, gun control, ‘fairness doctrine’, media bias, the ‘swine’ flu, the stimulus plans, TARP, etc. It seems we have a new crisis everyday.

Let me talk about the first one, the economy.

All last year the doom and gloomers talked about the issues with the economy. Yet ‘they’ didn’t do any thing about it. Then all of a sudden, in October, just before the election the whole thing started falling apart. I for one do not believe this was coincidence.

While I don’t think the then candidate Obama had any knowledge of the actual events occuring in the background, he and the other doomers definately benefited from it.

The persons that triggered the melt down are still in the background (behind the curtain) pulling the political strings. While our elected president (He is the president, and does reserve our respect, even if I don’t agree with him) has tremendous appeal to most of the public, I do not believe he is the one in charge.  He is just a face man for those unknown persons in the background. The same holds true for the other public figures, they are nothing more than pawns, expendable.

The only way we may even get of hint of these people’s identity is by tracking who wins or gains the most as a result of the recent downturn and subsequent recovery.  Who ends up with much more power, and much more money. Those are the real power brokers.
